Soccer matches returned in Rio de Janeiro, the only state in the country to allow sport to resume, despite the high numbers of infections and deaths from the disease still being recorded daily in the State and Country. Brazil recorded, in the last 24 hours, more than 47 thousand new cases by Covid-19, reaching a total of 1.5 million people diagnosed since the beginning of the pandemic, according to a survey made from the numbers released by the state health departments. In the last 24 hours, there were more than 1,200 new deaths, registering more than 61 thousand deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

Nas últimas 24 horas, houve mais de 1.200 novas mortes, registrando mais de 61 mil mortes desde o início da pandemia.
